About Network Stok
Network Stok helps system administrators solve everyday network problems. We publish practical guides — how to inventory a network, read a scan, troubleshoot with packet capture, keep an eye on infrastructure and verify a download — written in plain language for the person who actually has to get it working.
Guides first
Our focus is the job, not the catalog. Each guide walks through a real task step by step, and points to the tools that fit it. We're independent and not the developer of any program we mention.
How we cover programs
Alongside the guides we keep honest overviews of the software admins reach for — network scanners, monitoring platforms, and RMM and inventory tools. Each page describes what the program does, where it falls short, how it is licensed and what it costs. The home page shortlist is an editorial recommendation, not a measurement of popularity.
Official links
We don't host, mirror or repackage software. Links on program pages open the developer's own site or the project's official repository. Before you run an installer, see how to verify a download.
Keeping pages accurate
Prices, licenses and features change, so check the developer's site before you buy or deploy anything. Each program page shows when it was last updated. If you find a mistake, tell us and include the page address.
